WHAT IS THE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM?

Refer-A-Friend is our way of saying thanks for spreading the word about Recess. Share your personalized link with your friends, and when they make their first purchase of P5000 or more, you both get a 30% discount on your next order. It's that simple!

WAIT, WAIT. SO WHAT DO I GET FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM?

You’d be giving your friends 30% off their next order, and in return you get 30% off your next order too. Give 30%, get 30% back. Easy peasy.

As a referrer, you are eligible to refer a friend both as an existing Recess customer or as a new one (i.e. you could get 30% off your first or tenth Recess order). You can also refer as many friends as you like. Just make sure these friends aren’t already in our customer database (i.e. you can only invite referees who are first-time Recess customers). This program exists to spread the love.

Once you start referring friends, you’ll receive a personalized link with a unique single-use promo code. This promo code cannot be applied retroactively to previous Recess orders. Shipping costs are not included, and the Refer-A-Friend code cannot be combined with other promo offers or used on gift cards. The promo applies only to orders of P5000 and up. Please note that Recess reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Head over to our Refer-A-Friend page, enter your friend’s email address, click ‘Next,’ and your friend will receive an email with your referral link to make their first purchase. Share your link via text, email, or social media to spread the love!

HOW WILL MY FRIEND RECEIVE THEIR DISCOUNT CODE?

Once your friend clicks on the referral link you sent, they'll be redirected to our website. After confirming their email address, they'll receive a promo code. Their unique promo code will be valid for 30 days from its date of issue. Your friend can use the promo code at checkout to redeem their offer. 30% off. So good.

OKAY BUT HOW DO I GET MY DISCOUNT CODE AS A REFERRER?

This one’s a bit of a tag team effort. The friend you referred will first need to redeem their promo code with a purchase on ourrecess.com. After we confirm your friend's first qualifying purchase, you’ll then receive an email with your unique 30% off promo code. This code will be a single-use code which cannot be combined with other offers. This code will be valid for 30 days from its date of issue.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO USE A REFERRAL CODE?

No need to create an account! Simply enter the code during checkout, and voilà, the discount will be applied to your order.

DO REFERRAL CODES WORK AT PHYSICAL STORES?

No, referral codes are exclusively for purchases made on ourrecess.com.

WHY CAN'T I REFER MY FRIEND?

If you encounter an error when submitting your friend’s email address, that means your friend’s email is already in our database (i.e. they’ve probably placed a previous Recess order and are therefore ineligible for the referral promo). But don’t worry, we’re sure you’ll find some other friends who might love Recess too!
